This bottom bracket socket is for use with Chris King's T47 Bottom Bracket. Made with the same top-shelf aluminum alloy to the same exacting fit and tolerance as the rest of our socket range, these sockets won't chew up your shiny new bottom bracket. This socket features a threaded boss to allow you to bolt the tool into place when dealing with these exceptionally thin tool interfaces. This is a feature unique to our tools that adds a layer of protection and security to your parts and tools.

Coming in at roughly 265 grams, the Team Issue Titanium Hammer is a big weight savings over more traditional hammers. The soft face is replaceable with commonly available 1" threaded faces. At 12" long, it's compact but still long enough to remove those stubborn bearings. The CRS-15.2 uses two different insert rings to install bearing races on the 1.5-inch and 1-1/4-inch forks. The bearing surface is spared a direct hit by using aluminum inserts. Using a hammer, tap firmly on the end cap of the tube and seat the race into its proper place safely and accurately. Included extension allows work on fork steering tubes up to 425mm. - SHIS terminology: The CRS-15 services crown races in SHIS 33 and 40.
