This bottom bracket socket is for use with Chris King's T47 Bottom Bracket. Made with the same top-shelf aluminum alloy to the same exacting fit and tolerance as the rest of our socket range, these sockets won't chew up your shiny new bottom bracket. This socket features a threaded boss to allow you to bolt the tool into place when dealing with these exceptionally thin tool interfaces. This is a feature unique to our tools that adds a layer of protection and security to your parts and tools.

The CRS-15.2 uses two different insert rings to install bearing races on the 1.5-inch and 1-1/4-inch forks. The bearing surface is spared a direct hit by using aluminum inserts. Using a hammer, tap firmly on the end cap of the tube and seat the race into its proper place safely and accurately. Hirobel is a specially designed clamp for bicycle repair stands that makes it easier to work on your bike. It better distributes stresses and loads through the bicycle frame, offering superior stability while eliminating possible crushing or damage to thin-walled and shaped tubing. The pressure clamps used on contemporary workstands were developed for round steel tubing more than 40 years ago, predating carbon fiber, aluminum, aerodynamic and oversized tube shapes, integrated seat masts, dropper posts, and suspension systems. These legacy designs assume your bicycle tubing to be both round and straight, and when it is not, the clamp can impart very high point loads at the clamp edges causing finish damage, internal carbon layup damage, or outright crushing of tubes on the lightest designs.
